Setenay Alpsoy (1983)
Setenay Alpsoy graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Painting Department Neş'e Erdok Workshop in 2005 and earned her Master's Degree at the Social Sciences Institute Painting Department of the same university in 2009. Alpsoy, whose IETT Blocks I and IETT Blocks II works were chosen to be included in the permanent collection of One Thousand Museum in 2019, was also entitled to take part in The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Award 2020 exhibition. Alpsoy’s work Gayrettepe Last Stop took part in the exhibition, which was opened in London and will visit various cities of England for six months. She was among the finalists of Sustainable Arts Foundation 2021. The artist opened seven solo exhibitions titled Setenay Alpsoy Painting Exhibition (2008), City Riven By The Sea (2010), Invisible Cıty (2012), Imperfect Beauty (2014) , Texture (2016). Visit (2018) and Through the Transparent City (2020) as well as took part in many group exhibitions. The artist lives in Istanbul. Since 2008, she has been working with Evin Art Gallery.
